Yauco ('yau-"ko) is a city (ciudad) and municipality in southwestern Puerto Rico located in the southern coast of the island by the Caribbean Sea, south of Maricao, Lares and Adjuntas; east of Sabana Grandeand Guánica; and west of Guayanilla.
